Ready for an unforgettable day on the water? Join us for a guided kayak tour around the stunning shores of Coochiemudlo island.
The island covers a total area of 4.1km and is approximately 1km from the mainland. Boasting sandy beaches, mangroves, and a cafe and pub it is the perfect place to start you're paddling journey.
The total distance of the paddle is about 8km. We travel clockwise around the island, stopping first on the northern beach, then again on the southern beach where we will have lunch before taking the last 2km back to our launch point.
The day will consist of a basic kayak lesson on land first, before launching.

What to bring:
- Hat, glasses, sunscreen
- Drinking water
- A snack or lunch or buy from the cafe on the island
- Quick dry clothes, generally a rash top, board short, or leggings, no cotton.
- Shoes that can get wet. Avoid thongs.
- A waterproof bag or container for your keys/wallet/phone
- A towel and a change of clothes can be a great idea
- A waterproof camera if you wish
- Bring your sense of adventure — we’ll provide the kayaks, paddles, safety gear, and good vibes!
